About the Library

The Lathrop Branch Library offers computer workstations for Internet and word processing use, a small ready reference collection, and a small circulating collection of popular materials in English and Spanish. Items include books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, music CDs, and videos.  Newspapers are available for reading in the branch. Customers are able to receive hold requests, check out and return items, and to return materials from other library locations at this branch.

Friends of Lathrop Library

The Friends of Lathrop Library group was started by Lathrop civic and community members in 2010.  The main purpose of this local non-profit organization is to focus public attention on library services and facilities. 

The President of the Friends of Lathrop Library is Mr. Robert Gleason.
