678 Bookclub

This book club is open 24/7 to kids and teens in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Share your opinions with staff and other teens around San Joaquin County! All it takes is a quick and easy signup with GoodReads to get started!

 

In-Library Book Clubs

Many of our county libraries have book clubs that meet regularly. In case of any changes, be sure to check the events calendar to check the dates and times.

 

Troke

Troke Mystery Book Club (Adults & Teens)
This club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Program Room
Visit the Troke Branch Library to find out who the featured author is, and to check out/request copies of the author's books.  You can also check the events calendar for more details.
 
Troke Adult Book Club (Adults & Teens)
This club meets the second Saturday of each month at 12:00 p.m. in the Program room
Visit the Troke Branch Library to find out what the featured title is and to sign-out a copy of the book!  You can also check the events calendar for more details. 

Weston Ranch
Great Book Challenge (4th -8th grade)
This is an online bookclub that will be linked with the 678 Bookclub page.

Mountain House
Intermediate Book Club (any child reading above a 4th grade level)
This group meets on: 08/27, 09/10, 09/24, 10/8, 10/22, 11/12, 11/26
This group reads longer chapter books and meets on the above dates.
 
JEZ Beginning Readers (for beginning readers K-3)
Starting on November 28th, this group will meet every Wednesday at 3:30pm
This group is designed for beginning readers. Sign-up at the Mountain House circulation desk. Books are available for checkout one week prior to the book club meeting.
 
Step-up Easy Chapter Book Readers (beginning chapter book readers)
Starting on November 28th, this group will meet every Wednesday at 4:15pm.
This group is designed for readers starting on chapter books. Sign-up at the Mountain House circulation desk. Books are available for checkout one week prior to the book club meeting.

Ripon
Reading clubs will be available around Jan 2013. Be sure to check the online events calendar for dates and times.
