Fun for all ages - Children, Teens and Adults!!!
The Summer Reading Program's theme for 2013 is Reading is So Delicious!
Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library's Summer Reading Program is a fun way to stay engaged in reading and learning over the summer. Be prepared to have fun and learn! We’ve come up with an extensive menu of delicious activities and programs sure to tempt everyone’s taste. There is a lot to do for all ages, from the youngest babies to kids, teens and adults. Make this summer a FAMILY READING ADVENTURE - a DELICIOUS adventure!
For Kids:
Sign up at any branch and receive a reading card (ages 0 – grade 5)
Participate in fun and games at your library
Get a midway prize for completing 6 squares*
When 12 squares are completed earn a BOOK!*
For Teens:
Sign up at any branch (grades 6-12)
Keep track of your progress on a reading card
Participate in your local library programs
Get a midway prize for completing 3 squares*
When 6 squares are completed earn a BOOK!*
For Adults:
Sign up at any branch (must be over 18)
Keep track of your progress on a reading card
Participate in your local library programs, such as author visits, film showings, cooking events, and more
When all 6 squares are completed receive an insulated lunch bag*
* Summer Reading prizes are while supplies last and may vary branch to branch. All prizes are age appropriate and are incentives for participants to read throughout the summer.
